What's Happening in the Museum and Village

The Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum is the largest community museum in Ontario with two indoor galleries and a 60 acre living history exhibit called Doon Heritage Village that is open seasonally from May 1 to December 23.

We offer engaging activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy every day, as well as many special events that take place throughout the year.

Our main museum gallery tells the story of Waterloo Region and our feature gallery showcases local and travelling exhibits from around the world. Visit our feature gallery page to see what is on exhibit now at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum.

The main museum gallery also features the Waterloo Region Hall of Fame, located on the second floor, along with a War Memorial.
